In the latest signing news, Chelsea has gone for 19 year old defender Aaron Anselmino. As reported on Thursday through their official website, Anselmino was signed by Chelsea. The youngster will spend his 2024/25 campaign at Boca Juniors on loan.
Anselmino has signed a seven year contract with the Blues but for now, will spend his initial time in Argentina – his native. The Blues will monitor his progress and development and continue to support his growth and training. The transfer deal is reported to be worth £15.6m.
He is also part of the future project. Chelsea plans on buying as many young players as possible so they can all develop and improve. The side looks to make these youngsters into well groomed players so that they can come and improve the team in the long term. On the other hand, if they don’t, selling them for profit.
