Chelsea are lagging behind in the Victor Osimhen race

To make matters even worse, Saudi side Al Ahli are ready to agree the demands of both Napoli and Osimhen.

Chelsea still have hopes to sign Osimhen

According to Sky Sports, Al Ahli have offered £67.3 million to Napoli to sign Osimhen. In addition, they have also offered £40 million to Brentford to sign Ivan Toney. However, Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Al Ahli are only planning to sign one out of Osimhen and Toney. Ivan Toney is currently undergoing his medical tests for Al Ahli in London. This makes his top target for the Saudi side. In addition, Osimhen has not yet given green light to Al Ahli.

Chelsea are now reported to sign Osimhen on loan with an obligation to buy. They have already sold Romelu Lukaku to Napoli. They are also eager to part ways with Raheem Sterling who is now being offered to Arsenal. Chelsea officials are currently in Naples. They are trying to convince Osimhen to come to Stamford Bridge. Osimhen is still 25 years old and in his prime time of career. A move to Saudi at this stage of career could be seen as a setback.
