He added that Chilly (Chilwell) is a Chelsea player as long as he is with them. Lastly, Chelsea boss said that if they need Chilwell they will give him a chance and minutes.
Maresca was also asked if he made mistake in dropping Chilwell earlier. To this question, the Chelsea boss gave a good response will may suggest that he did made a mistake.
“We all make mistakes. Probably yes, probably no. I am here to take decisions. Sometimes they are good decisions ans sometimes they are not good. Journalist Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport that Chilwell wants to stay and fight for his place back in the starting eleven. He said the fullback has five days a week to learn and adapt his game. He added that Chilwell may be thinking more about Chelsea than an exit at this moment.
