Chelsea boss has told 2 currents stars to leave

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is known for taking bold actions. Earlier, he told some big names to leave the club when he arrived. Now, he has done the same with 2 more of current players.

Chelsea made Enzo Maresca their head coach last summer. The Italian has since then been on a mission to improve the West London Club. Firstly, he was handed a very huge squad. Maresca did a very good job and sent many players away from the Stamford Bridge.

The Blues still have many players at their club. They want to sign new players and hence they should focus on selling some of the current stars. Amidst this, Maresca has told two players that they are no longer needed at Stamford Bridge. Instead, he is keen to sign a new player.

Enzo Maresca wants 2 keepers to be sold by Chelsea

The Blues are said to sign a new goalkeeper. They were keen to sign Mike Maignan from AC Milan. But, the deal has collapsed as the Blues are unwilling to match transfer fee demands of Milan. They will head to Club World Cup with current keepers. Now, as per the latest report Maresca still wants a new keeper and is ready to sell 2 current ones.

“This talk of Chelsea having full faith in their five goalkeepers because we can throw Kepa into this as well. There really is no faith from Enzo Maresca in this at all. Of those five, Enzo Maresca doesn’t want any of them” – Graeme Bailey while talking to The Chelsea Chronicle.

“Robert Sanchez has been told he can leave. Djordje Petrovic has been told he can leave and there’s interest from Nice. There’s quite a bit interest in France in him. No shock given the season he’s just had” – Bailey about 2 players Maresca wants to sell this summer.
