Chelsea boss is in love with Wesley Fofana after his contribution to the Blues’ recent win.
The Blues registered a dominating win against West Ham last weekend. Maresca’s side won over the Hammers with a 3- 0 scoreline. Chelsea started with an early opener as they scored in the first 4 minutes.
The new signing Jadon Sancho opened up the game and assisted Nicolas Jackson in scoring the first goal for the team. The second goal was also scored by Jackson securing him a brace. In the 73rd minute, Cole Palmer added a third to the score tally.
It was a sort of one-sided victory for Enzo Maresca’s side. The hammers rarely put up a fight and were very weak on the defensive front. West Ham’s midfield was also in scrambles as Chelsea forwards easily broke through them.
Julen Lopetegui was particularly disappointed in his players. He pointed out that they failed to capitalize on some chances they got. The defenders also easily lost possession which helped the Blues in taking advantage of their weaknesses.

After the win against the Hammers managed to grab three points, The Blues have only been defeated in their opening games against Manchester City. City however defeated them at Chelsea’s home ground Stamford Bridge.
The game against West Ham was an exhausting one for Maresca’s men. The manager had to clear the air about injuries and concerns for the team.

Chelsea secured a 3- o win over their London rival West Ham on Saturday. This victory came due to the exceptional performance of players like Cole Palmer Nicolas Jackson Wesley Fofana and Jadon Sancho.
Maresca was impressed with his team’s performance but was particular about Blues’s ace defender Wesley Fofana. The manager said that he was in love with how Fofana plays and contributes to the team, according to the club’s official website he said-
“Wes is a player that I really love. I am in love with Wes”.
Fofana players as a right back as the club’s first choice Reece James and Malo Gusto were injured. The manager said that Wes had recently come from an injury, it is not easy but he is doing top. Wesley’s flexibility was appreciated by Enzo.
Wesley started the game for the Blues against West Ham. During the first half the defender went down, it looked like he was injured but got back up and went on playing. There were concerns as the Frenchman was seen wearing a strap band around his knee.
Maresca came forward and cleared the concerns about Fofana’s injury. The manager said that it was nothing serious, the strapping was just a precaution to keep the player safe.
The French had unfortunately missed the entirety of last season due to an ACL injury. Wesley has often been out since his arrival at Stamford Bridge. This season the defender has started in all the Premier League games for Chelsea. Chelsea boss seems to have big plans for the defender.

The Blues defeated West Ham 3-0, this earned their manager Enzo Maresca lots of appreciation. The boss has finally started to get in tune with his players.

After winning the game against the Hammers Maresca is now the first manager to win three away games in charge after Pep Guardiola since 2016.
The last season was not very good for the Blues but things were getting under control with ex-manager Mauricio Pochettino. The Club and Mauricio parted ways due to conflicts. Enzo Maresca came to Stamford Bridge as an experienced manager but has helped the team get a good start to their campaign.
