Chelsea have completed the signing of highly rated Portugese teen. The player was chased by Man United in January but the deal collapsed. The Blues have now made a suprise signing to secure the services of talented youngster.

The Blues are known for signing top talents across whole world. They have adapted this new system since the takeover from Roman Abramovich. They have many young players in the squad whereas many will join them in summer. Now, they have added another top talent to their squad but he will join in 2026.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea have completed the signing of Geovany Quenda. The Blues have agreed the deal with Sporting CP. The player has said yes to both Chelsea’s and Maresca’s plans. Lastly, the medicals have already done and the player will move to West London in 2026.

David Ornstein has now reported that the Blues will pay in the region of €45 million to €50 million. Quenda will sign a long-term contract of 7 years which will also have an option to extend for another year. Lastly, Ornstein also stated that United tried to sign him in January for €40 million.

Quenda is 17 years old but already plays for Sporting’s first team. He has played 43 games this season and has registered 2 goals along with 6 assists. He can play on variety of positions – left midfielder, left winger, right midfielder and right winger.

Chelsea have a massive talent in form of Quenda. Ben Jacobs has reported that the Blues already have plan ready for Quenda. He said that the West London giants view him as wide winger who is capable of switching sides. The 17 year old used to play as wing-back under former Sporting boss Ruben Amorim.
