Chelsea confident about landing 24 year old star this summer

Chelsea are confident about landing 24 year old star this summer. The Blues believe that they can defeat their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race.

Chelsea had a very quiet January transfer window. They made only 1 new signing which now suggests that a big summer window is loading. There are signing expected in all parts of pitch but defender signing seems to be the top priority of the West London club.

Axel Disasi and Renato Veiga are both away on loan. Disasi is very likely to be sold in summer. Trevoh Chalobah is back from loan but he too is very likely to be sold. Lastly, Benoit Badiashile has also been linked with exit on multiple occasions.

The Blues have many defensive players linked with them. They tried to sign Murillo on deadline day but Nottingham Forest rejected the offer. However, their top target has always been Marc Guehi who is very likely to move away from Crystal Palace in summer.

Chelsea confident about signing Marc Guehi in summer

TBR Football has reported that the Blues are confident about landing Guehi in summer. They believe that they can defeat their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign the 24 year old.

Spurs were said to offer around £70 million to sign Guehi in summer. But, they are in far worse position as compared to Chelsea. The Blues can provide Guehi with Champions League football and also have good relationship with him as he started his career at Stamford Bridge.

Crystal Palace will feel powerless to hold Guehi in summer. The 24 year old will enter the final year of his current contract. Palace will not want to lose him for free next summer and hence will make him available in market. Chelsea can sign him on low fee as they have sell-on clause in the 24 year old’s contract.
