Will John Duran Join Chelsea?
Chelsea have been trying to sign the Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko from Leibzig. But Sesko decided to sign a new contract at RB Leipzig to end the Blues hope. However, the Colombian only started 10 matches for Aston Villa in all competitions last season and only 3 in the premier league. It seems unlikely that Duran will get more playing time under Villa boss Unai Emery.
So, a move will a perfect option for John Duran. According to Fabrizio Romano, Duran wants to join the Blues and prefers a move to Stamford Bridge over other big clubs. Is Victor Osimhen Going To Join The Blues In The Summer?
Aside from Duran’s signing, another striker might join the Blues this summer. First mentioned by Graeme Bailey, Blues insider Simon Phillips also claimed that Chelsea could end up signing two strikers in the summer depending on their players’ sales. So, the possibility of Napoli star Victor Osimhen moving to Stamford Bridge isn’t impossible. Osimhen has a great career in Napoli, made 133 appearances, and scored 76 goals to help Napoli win the Seria title. According to Simon Phillips’s report, Osimhen would be happy to join Chelsea in the summer and ready for the move. The Nigerian has been linked with a move away for the past 12 months and Chelsea remain interested in signing him.
But the Napoli star could cost a massive amount of money for the blues. Last year December, Osimhen signed a one-year extension to his current contract, which will keep him in Napoli till 2026. Osimhen has a release clause of 113M in his current contract. . Not just European clubs, Saudi Arabia’s clubs are willing to sign Odsimhen. However, according to Calcio Napoli 24, only Al Ahli is ready to pay the entire of his cause. But there is a doubt whether the Nigerian forward wants to join the Saudi league at this stage of his career. So, Chelsea needs to be aware of the fact that the Blues have to pay that much amount to get the No 9 from Napoli. That means Enzo Maresca Side co0uld ended up sogning two new strikers for the blues.
