Chelsea defender says its difficult for him to succeed

Benoit Badiashile has admitted that it is difficult for him to succed at Chelsea. The 23 year old is having hard time at West London and is linked with an away move.

The Blues signed Badiashile in January 2023 for around £32 million as reported by The Guardian. He impresses the club with his time at Monaco and was viewed as a player with bright future. But things have not worked out for the defender since making a move to England.

Recently, Badiashile spoke about his current form and time with West London club. He made an honest admission along with staying confident about the future.

“Of course, I want to stay. Chelsea is a big club. I know it’s difficult to succeed here. But I will do my best” – Badiashile speaking about his current form and future.

This states that the Frenchman is eager to have his say at Chelsea. He might be ready to stay here for long but it will also depend on what Chelsea think.

Is Badiashile leaving Chelsea?

Recently, there have been a lot of reports about the Frenchman leaving Chelsea. But the West London club have shut down all the rumours and said that they view the defender as an important asset for the future.

But, this is not enough for Badiashile to secure his future at Chelsea. He has fallen down the pecking order and is yet to make a start in Premier League this season. In addition, he has played on 37 minutes in league and is far away from being a first choice player.

Enzo Maresca uses Badiashile for other competitions but the defender has failed to improve their too. He was their least rated player in their latest clash against FC Noah.

Considering the amount of players Chelsea currently have, they will surely have ti part ways with some of them. Badiashile will surely have to show signs of improvement very soon or else will find his name on the sale list.
