Enzo Fernandez was also the victim of injury during the Blues’ triumph over Crystal Palace. The injury occurred in the final moments of the game where he got hit on his jaw. It was another terrific-looking injury for Maresca’s men. The Argentine then had to be assessed by physios and pitch-side players after damaging his jaw.
Fernandez was the captain of the Blues for the game. The Argentine was due to play for his national team in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers against Colombia and Chile.
