Chelsea are now prepared to let Mykhailo Mudryk leave on loan with Newcastle United interested in signing him. The Blues will agree to let the 23 year old leave on loan in January before taking any permanent decision about his future.
Chelsea signed Mudryk in January 2023 after beating Arsenal in the race. They paid huge price to Shakhtar Donetsk for whom the winger was shinning bright at the moment. But, the case has not been same since the winger moved to West London.
The 23 year old has struggled in his time at Chelsea. In 73 matches played, Mudryk has only been able to score 10 goals and record 8 assists. He has failed to live up the expectations and now has lost his spot as regular starter.
Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho have arrived to West London this summer. This has resulted in Mudryk falling way behind in the pecking order. He is below every other winger in pecking order for Enzo Maresca as of now.
Chelsea ready to send Mudryk on loan to Newcastle

Newcastle are keen to sign Mudryk as Eddie Howe has felt a need to improve his attacking line. Mudryk can receive regular game time and this may help him to get back at his best. The Magpies will also view the winger as an important addition to their current squad.
Mudryk is still 23 and will enter the prime of his career soon. He will hope to get as much time as possible on the pitch. The loan move will provide him with an opportunity to force Chelsea to change their mind and play him regular. He can even attract another top club and move somewhere else at the end of the season.
