Chelsea are keen to land Liam Delap this summer. According to Nathan Salt, they have now accelerated their pursuit of 22 year old striker. Hence, we may see some moves being made by the West London club in coming days.
Delap currently plays for Ipswich Town who are very happy with him. But, they are set to lose him as they are on the verge of getting relegated. In addition, the player can be signed for £30 million once the Tractor Boys get relegated.
Earlier, there were reports that Delap will prefer to join a club where he will be regular starter. As of now, the Blues may not be able to guarantee him that. But, Enzo Maresca has worked with the striker earlier and hence can convince the 22 year old to join them.
