Sensational left-back, Bondswell spent his initial career from 2010-18 in the Nottingham Forest Academy.

He then moved to Germany to play for RB Leipzig’s academy. Then FC Dordrecht bought him on loan this season. On his debut in the Netherlands, on 30th August 2020, his team drew 0-0 to Go Ahead Eagles.

The youngster also had his stints at England U-16, U-17, and U-18 that impressed RB Leipzig.

Chelsea would be eager to sign promising youngster Bondswell

Chelsea had been the leaders in the Transfer window by spending almost £250 million to sign some prolific players.

The Blues are building a squad also considering its future with many young guns playing at a professional level. Players like Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson Odoi, Mason Mount, Reece James, and Billy Gilmour have impressed under coach Frank Lampard.

Currently, they possess three left-backs as Ben Chilwell, Emerson Palmieri, and Marcus Alonso. However, as compared to the other two left-backs, only Chilwell is playing regular football under Lampard. Both Alonso and Emerson are expected to leave in the January transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, Bondswell has caught the attention of Chelsea.

He could get to learn many things under the mentoring of Ben Chilwell and the other left-backs. He is even tipped as one of the best defenders playing in his age range.

West Ham United also seem interested in bringing him back to England. However, the Hammers would prefer signing a centre-back, a striker, and a central midfielder considering their recent form. He could also be able to learn from current left-backs Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku.

Sporting Lisbon are also reported to be interested in signing the youngster.
