David Ornstein has reported that the Blues are keeping tabs on Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho. He added that the talks are still in early stage but both these players fit perfectly in Chelsea’s plans.
Gittens is 20 years old an plays for Borussia Dortmund. He is English and playing in Premier League can excite him. He has been in superb form for Dortmund this season. So far he has scored 11 goals and picked 3 assists in 25 games across all competitions.
On the other hand, Garnacho has already proved himself in Premier League. He is 20 years too and been with Man United throughout his career. He has so far scored 23 goals and picked 14 assists for United in 123 games.
Both Garnacho and Gittens can play on wings and can also adapt and play in middle. They can be perfect replacement for Nkunku and can also be long term investment for the Blues. However, both of them will cost a hefty amount of money and this can complicate the deal for Chelsea.
