Chelsea and Liverpool are both showing interest in French star ahead of summer window. The player has been in superb form as he has registered 34 goal contributions. As of now, the Blues have upper hand in the race.

Chelsea have finally signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. They will pay the Tractor Boys £30 million. Delap is set to undergo medicals and will soon be announced officially by the Blues. But, the West London giants are said to sign another striker for stability.

The star in question here is Hugo Ekitike of Frankfurt. He is 22 years old and has been unstoppable this season. He has scored 22 goals and picked 12 assists for the German club this season. Ekitike is very heavily linked with a move to Premier League this summer.

Liverpool rate Ekitike very highly but have no intention to pay €100 million. They are currently focused on wrapping up the signing of Florian Wirtz. The Reds are ready to pay Bayer Leverkusen €130 million to part ways with Wirtz.

Chelsea aim to bring in tactical stability by signing Ekitike. The French striker is capable of playing in wide areas. He can be convinced very easily as moving to Premier League will be a huge step-up in his career. It will be interesting to see if the Blues step-up their pursuit in the coming days by submitting an offer.
