Mainoo became a regular first team member last season. He played 32 games for Man United and topped it with 5 goals and 1 assist. He was so good last season that he was called up to represent England in the Euro 2024.

Mainoo has not seen a little downgrade in his form this season. He is not the only one form United squad facing this situation. But, the recent news about ther 19 year old may disturb almost every Man United fan.

There are reports that Mainoo and Garnacho can leave United along with many other players. The Red Devils are in transition phase but the fans will not want to see their favourite sons leave them just yet.

Chelsea leading the race for Mainoo

According to Chris Wheeler, Chelsea are leading the race to land Mainoo if he decides to leave Man United. The Red Devils don’t seem to be willing to let the 19 year old levae but can’t force him to stop either if he himself wants to move.

The Blues do have a great squad but many of their current stars are linked with exit. There will be mini exodus this year which will open huge space in the squad. However, they will need to break their bank in order to land Mainoo this year.

Mainoo will be in complete charge about his future. United fans will hope that he stays with them for long time and play for badge he grew up loving. However, there might be some internal things fans can never see which can force the player to move away from his beloved club.
