Chelsea have made fresh contact with 27 year old defender ahead of summer transfer window. The player can cost the Blues around €50 million.

The West London club is set for another big summer transfer window. They are set to make new signings in almost all parts of the area. But, the Blues will have defensive signings as the top priority of the club. They are ready to spend big in order to land atleast two defenders.

Chelsea are set to part ways with Trevoh Chalobah and Axel Disasi this summer. In addition, they may also opt to sell Benoit Badiashile for right price. According to Caught Offside, Chelsea have made fresh contact to sign David Hancko this summer. The player is 27 years old and currently plays for Feyenoord. He is also looked upon by Liverpool and will cost around €50 million.

Hancko mainly plays as centre-back but can also play as left-back. He has played 41 games this season and has registered 4 goals along with 2 assists. He has so far played 134 matches for Feyenoord and has scored 15 goals and picked 10 assists. Hence, the Dutch giants rate him very highly and will like to keep him.

Hancko will be a great addition to the Chelsea squad. He will inject the club with much needed experience. In addition, his versatality will make him a key player for Enzo Maresca. The Blues can step-up their process of signing him very soon. However, they will need to beat the competition from Liverpool who will use relation of Hancko with Arne Slot to their advantage.
