Juventus’ stance on Paulo Dybala has alerted Chelsea and Manchester United

Chelsea and Manchester United, two English Premier League heavyweights, had joined the race for one of the biggest players in Serie A, Paulo Dybala.

Juventus appointed the former legendary midfielder Andrea Pirlo as their new Head coach this season. Dybala has been overlooked by Pirlo this season, to surface exit rumours at Allianz Arena.

Duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata emerged as the favoured forwards at Old Lady. Morata is currently in his prime form and keeps scoring goals alongside Ronaldo. Juventus currently sit at 4th position in the Serie A table with 16 points from 8 league fixtures.

Paulo Dybala should get more playing time!

Dybala impressed in the last season and was selected as the Most Valuable Player in Serie A 2019-20. But this term Argentine international has been more a benchwarmer rather than in the starting lineup.

Journalist Umberto Zapelloni has hinted that his future at Juventus is doubtful, in an interview conducted by Calcio Mercato.

“He was nicknamed the ‘Joya’, but right now he doesn’t play with that positive attitude.

It’s in a particular moment, probably does not feel the confidence of the coach and the club.”

“I would always keep him in the team and would focus on him for after Ronaldo, but with Pirlo, the feeling does not seem at its best.”

Excluding lack of playing time, Dybala is currently in his top form. He was even tipped as a future Ballon d’Or winner.

Dybala also has to compete with Mauro Icardi, Lautaro Martinez, and Sergio Aguero to reach the starting eleven for Argentina.

Dybala – A swap deal by Red Devils or a new signing by Chelsea?

European giants Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid had been in the race for Paulo Dybala for some time.

As per Daily Mail, Chelsea are keen on signing him. The Blues spent more than €200 million. They brought reinforcements in the form of Thiago Silva, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, and Edouard Mendy. They are looking hungry for more!

Another Premier League heavyweight, Manchester United have been admiring Dybala for two years. Anthony Martial not hitting the form has been a major headache for manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer.

A clinical striker such as Paulo Dybala might solve the Red Devils’ problem. It could be a potential swap deal with Paul Pogba returning to his former club.

However, Dybala has caught the eye of Los Blancos. Real Madrid have included Dybala as an option along with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
