Chelsea may miss out on the transfer of their long awaited target. The Blues target is being highly considered by Manchester United. The Red Devils have received a key boost in the pursuit of questioned star.
The star in question is none other than Victor Osimhen. The Blues were very heavily linked with the Nigerian striker this summer. They tried really hard until the end of deadline day but were unable to agree a deal with Napoli.
Osimhen was already out of favour with Napoli. Hence, he joined Galatasaray on season long loan. But, the Blues have not given up on Osimhen and are keen to go again after him next year.

Recently, it was reported that United have developed interest in Osimhen. The Red Devils are struggling at the moment and some big changes are expected at the club. A new striker is expected at the club due to poor performance from current stars.
Joshua Zirkzee who joined this summer has completely failed to deliever. In addition, Rasmus Hojlund has also been unable to stay consistent. Lastly, Marcus Rashford is very likely to leave the club next year.
United have now received an unexpected boost in the pursuit of Osimhen. Journalist Graeme Bailey has reported that Napoli are willing to sign Rashford. The Italian club is open for a swap deal between Osimhen and Rashford.
Osimhen will be surely be an upgrade upon almost all United attackers. The 25 year old already has 12 goals and 4 assists in 15 games this season. But, this will come as a massive blow for Chelsea. Their chances of signing Osimhen are starting to decrease.
The Blues do have a great squad and their main striker is also in superb form. But, Nkunku who is used as backup striker is very likely to leave the club next year. It will be interesting to see how the Blues operate in transfer market.
