One Italian club is plotting a new bid for 21 year old Chelsea star. Their old bid was rejected by the West London club. There is a belief that this new bid may be enough to lure 21 year old away from Stamford Bridge this month.
The star in question here is Cesare Casadei who joined the Blues 2022 from Inter Milan. The 21 year old was viewed as a player with very bright future at West London. But the deal has not worked out for both player and the club.
Casadei has played only 6 games this season as he is way behind in pecking order. He is yet to play any Premier League game this season and this has made him extremely unhappy with his role.
Casadei very likely to leave Chelsea this month
Casadei wants to move away from Stamford Bridge in order to play regularly. The Blues are also open to sell him in order to open up space for new stars. In addition, his sale will also help the club to comply with PSR.
Torino were the first club to make move for Casadei with the player ready to join them. Later they were joined by Lazio before Napoli suddenly said to be frontrunners to land the 21 year old.
However, Napoli are now said to find it hard to meet the expectations from the West London club. That deal is now reported to have been blocked. Now, Torino are planning to submit a new bid.
Torino preparing a new bid to sign Casadei
According to Fabrizio Romano, Torino are preparing a new bid to sign Casadei. Firstly, they submitted a bid of €10 million which was quickly rejected by the Blues.
Chelsea want around €15 million for the 21 year old. In addition, they want a sell-on clause included in his contract which will let them earn a significant portion of the Italian midfielder’s future sale.
