Everton are planning to send Armando Broja back to West London. Chelsea are offering Toffees with 2 options in replacement of Broja.
Broja joined Everton on season long loan in summer. He was suffering with Achilles trouble and was ill at that time. This delayed his debut in Toffees jersey. He played the first match of this season on 5th December 2024.
After playing just 6 months for Everton, Broja has once again faced serious injury. He has suffered ankle ligament injury and will miss the games until April. The Toffees are planning to free his loan spot.
David Moyes has refused to speak clearing about releasing Broja. He said the decision is yet to be made. Toffees are expected to sign some attacking players this month. They are lacking firepower in final third and are sitting on 16th position currently.
Along with attackers, David Moyes said that they also need some additions in midfield. Lastly, Moyes also reflected about left-back situation. He said that they will make signing there too if possible.
Chelsea offer Everton 2 midfielders
According to The Mirror, the Blues want Toffees to take either Carney Chukwuemeka or Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall instead of Broja. Both these midfielder are linked with exit from Stamford Bridge since a long time.
Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea only in the summer but has not received proper game time. He is way behind in pecking order and is willing to move away. The Blues will hope to recoup all £30 million they spent while signing him.
Chukwuemeka is in much worse spot than Dewsbury-Hall. He has played just 5 matches this season and the Blues are desperate to part ways with him. The 21 year old English star is made available in market but the West London club want atleast £40 million for him.
