Chelsea Possible XI: A glimpse at the most fancied options

Chelsea could land up with a great possible XI with their new signings. They have made some serious moves in the market this summer. Owner Todd Boehly has been at the back of it again. The Blues have managed to sign top talents once more. They are on course to improve their squad depth. The London side is no short in numbers either. They have more than 40+ players for their first-team. At the same time, most of them are young and willing to prove themselves. Yes, some players will be leaving the Stamford Bridge. But, that doesn’t change the fact that Enzo Maresca will have a lot to choose from. So, it is important that he knows his players well.

Chelsea will be eyeing to go long this season with their new signings making a strong possible starting XI. They were not up to their best in 23/24. Their league campaign would end with them finishing 6th in the Premier League. At the same time, they were even denied the chance to play in the UEL. Man Utd won the FA Cup to seal their spot in the competition. As a result, we will be seeing the Blues in the UECL now. Making things worse, the London side were not even able to win a single trophy last time. While they did make it into the finals of the EFL Cup, Liverpool got the better of them.

Chelsea Possible XI: A look at the key players

Surely, the Blues have a lot of players they could field. But, we will be taking a look at some of the key players, including new signings, that could make it into the possible XI for Chelsea. We believe that Filip Jorgensen is likely to take the place in goal. The 20-year-old just made a move from Villareal. But, Maresca has stuck with him in the pre-season. And, with Robert Sanchez not doing so great, we may see the 20-year-old making the lineup. The combination of Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana at the heart of the back four comes to mind. Ideally, we would field Reece James alongside Marc Cucurella on the flanks.

Some fans have differing opinions as you can see in the above tweet. But we will be focusing on choosing players as per their recent run of form and overall quality. We choose 3 midfielders to go alongside the back four. Enzo Fernandez, Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo make it in. At the same time, we will be proceeding with the front three now. New Chelsea signing Pedro Neto makes it into our possible XI on the left-hand side. Cole Palmer will play on the right for us. Meanwhile, we think Nkunku would be best placed at the center. That sums up the lineup from our side. We think the Blues will be very tough to beat if they manage to build a strong team chemistry with their talented players.

A lot to work on for Maresca

It is no secret that the Blues have more players than they could possibly play. As a result, we might see many of the talents either out on loan, permanently or playing for the reserve side. As per football.london, Chelsea could easily form 4 possible XI, including their new signings. Maresca will have to keep a close eye on his men to make sure he picks the best out of the lot.

Meanwhile, some fans are still hopeful of their team buying a quality striker. They believe that signing Victor Osimhen will really make them very tough. It will be interesting to see if the Blues are able to secure a move for him. And if so, how he will fit into Maresca’s plans. But, as of now, the London side have a lot to figure out as they will be eyeing to win against Man City in their game 1 of the Premier League.
