Chelsea prepared to sell 26 year old star for lower price

Chelsea are prepared to sell their 26 year old superstar for lower price in the summer window. They have taken the decision due to failure in attaining deal this transfer window.

The Blues parted ways with many of their player this window. Most of the players left on loan but some took the permanent exit route. Out of the loaned stars, many are expected to depart in the summer transfer window for permanent basis.

Chelsea also wanted to part ways with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Infact, the player was the one who was pushing for a move due to lack of playing time. Enzo Maresca wanted the 26 year old despite his wish of moving away.

The Blues signed Dewsbury-Hall only in summer 2024 and hence wanted to recoup all of their transfer fee. They demanded £30 million to be paid fully but this caused the deal to end in failure. But, the 26 year old is very likely to depart from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea ready to sell Dewsbury-Hall for lower price

According to Football Insider, the Blues are said to reduce their asking price for Dewsbury-Hall in summer. They have taken this decision due to failures in transfer talks in this transfer window.

The 26 year old will still be keen to move away from Chelsea this summer. But, he is now expected to get more chances to play in the rest of the season. Both Chukwuemeka and Casadei have left the club which increases the chances of Dewsbury-Hall’s playing.

It will be interesting to see which club makes move for Dewsbury-Hall. Earlier, he was linked with a return to Leicester City who have struggled after parting ways with him. In addition, West Ham United were also showing interest in the 26 year old. The final decision will be based on what the player thinks along with Chelsea’s demands.
