Man United were heavily linked with a move for Christopher Nkunku. To begin with, the Frenchman has been the highest goal-scorer for Chelsea this season. But he has not been able to receive regular game time.
Later, there were reports that Nkunku is unhappy and is looking to move away from Chelsea. United were viewed as his next destination as their current attackers are finding it very hard to leave their impact on the field.
Nkunku will like the idea of joining United where he can play regularly. He will be viewed as an upgrade upon Zirkzee, Hojlund and Rashford. But despite the player’s will, Chelsea will not like the idea of the 27 year old joining their arch rivals.

Firstly, Nkunku will leave space after his departure which Chelsea will want to fill very quickly. They will target a number nine, as Nkunku was playing that role recently. They have a chance to find a quality striker along with preventing Nkunku joining United by carrying out a swap deal.
According to TBR Football, Nkunku can be sent to PSG in exchange of Randal Kolo Muani. Kolo Muani has been in exactly similar situation as that of Nkunku. Hence, the deal will be in the best interest of both players along with both clubs.
This may come as a big blow for United who would have loved to see Nkunku in their red jersey. On the other hand, Chelsea fans will also not feel very well with the deal as they would have loved to witness more of the 27 year old in Blue jersey.
