Chelsea are keen to sign one young Spanish attacker this month. They already made an offer for Spanish club which was rejected. The Blues have now improved their initial offer.
The star in question here is Yeremay Hernandez who plays for Deportivo La Coruna. Hernandez is 22 years old and plays on left flank. He can play as both midfielder and winger. In addition, he can also play on right wing.
Hernandez has been superb for La Coruna this season. He has scored 8 goals and picked 3 assists in 18 games so far. This performances has linked him with a move to bigger club.
The 22 year old is open to move away from La Liga 2 side this month. He has €20 million release clause and Coruna are demanding it to be paid fully. In addition, he wants to join a club where he can play regularly.
The Blues may not guarantee him regular game time but they are still keen to land him. They have opening on left flank as Mudryk is sidelined due to testing positive in doping tests and Nkunku is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich.
Chelsea improve their offer for Yeremay Hernandez
The Blues offered La Coruna €10 million plus add-ons as initial offer. They were willing to include a sell-on clause and offer Chelsea player in return too. However, that offer was deemed too low by the Spanish side. According to Relevo, the Blues have now raised their offer to €12 million.
La Coruna may still reject the offer as the West London club have only increased €2 million. They feel that Hernandez is worth lot more and are not short of interested clubs. Napoli are also keen to sign the 22 year old as replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who has left the club.
