Chelsea ready to sell their promising midfielder this summer

Chelsea are reported to have made their promising midfielder available in the summer market. As of now, he is being looked upon by 2 Premier League clubs.

The Blues are headed for another big summer window. They can be seen making some key signings. Enzo Maresca will be backed to bring in players of his choice. In contrast, multiple big names may be seen moving away from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea ready to let young midfielder leave

Thr Blues need to register some sales before making new signings. Firstly, it will help them to reduce their squad depth and open up space. In addition, it will help to raise funds which will then help to go after new players. Lastly, it will help them to comply with PSR.

According to Chelsea news, they are ready to make Romeo Lavia available in the summer market. In addition, they are ready to sell him for £45 million which is less than what they paid while signing him. As of now, 2 unnamed Premier League clubs are showing interest in Lavia.

Lavia is only 21 years old and has shown his highest quality on multiple occasions. But, he has been highly injury prone ever since moving to West London. Over the last 2 season, he has played only 15 games due to which the Blues have felt short in the midfield.

Chelsea can still offer Lavia another chance this summer. But, the 21 year old has to stay fit and perform consistently to secure his spot. Otherwise, the West London club have shown in recent years that they are not shy to let the under-performing stars leave.

Lavia will still find multiple clubs showing interest in him. He is capable of playing as both holding and central midfielder. This makes him a key asset for any club. But, the move will also depend on if the interested clubs are ready to pay the demanded price tag by Chelsea.
