Chelsea receive both boost and blow in pursuit of Victor Osimhen

  • Chelsea still view Victor Osimhen as their top target for next year
  • The Blues have received a very important boost which will excite them
  • At the same time, they have received blow as one new club has joined the race

Chelsea are still interested to sign Osimhen next year. They tried until the last minute this summer to sign the striker. But, the deal failed as the Blues could not agree on transfer fee with Napoli.

Osimhen was already out of Napoli plans and hence joined Galatasaray on loan. Nicolas Jackson is doing really well at the moment. It was said that Chelsea should now forget Osimhen and move forward.

But, The Blues are not willing to lose Osimhen and hence are planning a move for him next year. They are keen to bring the Nigerian striker to Stamford Bridge and now have received a very good news.

Napoli are now willing to let Osimhen leave for €75 million. The Blues will view this price as a bargain and feel like their chances of landing Osimhen has increased.

Jackson has scored 7 goals and picked 3 assists in 12 Premier League games this season. Despite his top form, Osimhen still will be an upgrade over him and directly claim the starting spot.

The price tag may be a very good news for the Blues. But, they have also received a blow as one new club has entered the race. This will increase the competition and decrease the chances of Chelsea to land the 25 year old.

Juventus join Chelsea in the race to sign Victor Osimhen

As per CaughtOffside, Osimhen is looked upon by Juventus. The Old Lady are finding it very hard to agree a new deal with Dusan Vlahovic. Hence, they are monitoring on top options to replace him next year.

Osimhen has already proved himself in Italy and hence Juve will view him as perfect fit. The decision will come down to what the player thinks. He may continue his spell in Italy or step up and try to make a name for himself in England.
