Pedro Neto once again came to the rescue of Chelsea last night. He put on a superb performance and made a strong statement against Arsenal. Enzo Maresca now needs to start Neto regularly for sure.
Pedro Neto started the game for the Blues once again last night. He started as left winger as Jadon Sancho is still to recover from the illness. Maresca had no regrets about starting Neto as he was voted as the player of the match.
Neto was switched to play as a right winger because Madueke was taken off in 68th minute. Just 2 minutes later, Neto was able to score a superb goal to score his first Premier League goal of the season. This showed how crucial he can be in his preferred position.
Maresca will now be thrown in lot of worries on whom he should start regularly. Madueke too is in top form but Maresca cannot ignore Neto now for sure. This may also force Sancho to spend the rest of the season as a backup for both of these stars.
