Chelsea star agrees personal terms with their Premier League rivals

One Chelsea star has agreed personal terms with their Premier League rivals over a January switch. He is said to move away from Stamford Bridge on loan until the end of the season.

The star in question here is Axel Disasi who joined the Blues in 2023. In his first season, he played 44 games but struggled to perform well. As a result, he has fallen down the pecking order this term. So far, he has played only 17 games this season.

Disasi is often used by Maresca in less important games. He has played just 6 Premier League games out of which he started in only 4. He is behind other players like Colwill, Fofana, Adarabioyo and Badiashile. In addition, the Blues have now recalled Trevoh Chalobah who has opened the exit doors for Disasi.

Axel Disasi to leave Chelsea this month?

Fabrizio Romano reported that Aston Villa are interested in signing Disasi. Later, he reported that the 26 year old has agreed personal terms with Villa. The defender had talks with Villa manager Unai Emery. Later, Fabrice Hawkins reported that Villa plan to sign Disasi on loan without an option to buy.

Romano has recently reported that Wolves are also showing interest in Disasi. But, the 26 year old prefers a move to Villa due to talks with Emery. Romano ended by saying that the deal will now depend on what Chelsea and Villa think.

Villa have recently lost Deigo Carlos to Fenerbahce. They will need to replace him quickly as the window will close on 3rd February. Disasi can be a decent addition and loan move can even eliminate the risk of spending unnecessary.

But, the Blues will want an obligation to buy as they are keen to sell the 26 year old. They will want to make some profit which will help them in pursuit of top targets like Marc Guehi or Dean Huijsen.
