One Chelsea player is being looked upon by FC Barcelona. The Spanish giants are keeping eye on the player as Plan B due to their ongoing problems at the club. The questioned star is eager to move away from the Blues this month.
Barcelona are having a rough time right now due to financial situation. They are yet to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. They signed both players in the summer 2024 and after just 6 months they are in big crises.
Barca spent £47 million to sign Olmo from Leipzig whereas they spent £2.6 million for Victor. Due to the strict wage policies of La Liga, the Catalan club is finding it very hard to register both these stars.
Olmo is already on verge of exit and Premier League is considered as his next destination. He could leave Barca for free in summer due to the clause in his contract. The Spanish giants are keeping an eye on Chelsea star as replacement for Olmo.

As per CaughtOffside, Barca are plotting a loan move for Christopher Nkunku in January. They will only opt to do so if Dani Omlo leaves the club de to not getting registered.
Nkunku is one of the most heavily linked names with a move away from Stamford Bridge. He has failed to claim his place as regular starter under Enzo Maresca. In addition, he has to play as striker to get game time.
Nkunku has played 27 games this season and done well in his unnatural position. He has registered 12 goals and 4 assists. But, he is still way behind in pecking order and hence wants to move away in January.
The Blues are also planning to add another striker. As of now, Nicolas Jackson stays as their first choice striker. But, the club wants to find a quality star who could compete with Jackson for the starting position.
