Marc Cucurella feels like Chelsea still needs to improve
Cucurella gave his honest verdict after their latest victory against Leicester City. Firstly, he said that they needed this win and they achieved it which will now put pressure on rivals.
The Spaniard then said that they are ready to compete for the top four. He added that this will be their target this season in his opinion. Later, he spoke about their title winning chances.
“For sure we are here to win titles, but I think right now we are a bit far from top teams. They have worked with the same manager and ideas for a long time. We started a few months ago” – Marc Cucurella speaking on Official Chelsea Website.
This does not reflect any lack of confidence and instead reflects lot of honesty. We can all admit that even if Chelsea are improved very much, they are still far or little away from winning the league.
But, Maresca will try his very best to make things happen. He will like to prove everyone wrong and get his hands on the Premier League trophy. But, it will require a lot of improvement and it has to start from improving defence.
