One of the loaned Chelsea star is tipped to have a good chance to return at West London this month. The star is currently at Southampton who are at the bottom of Premier League points table.
The Blues had a vast squad depth before the arrival of Enzo Maresca. The Italian boss took bold decisions and parted ways with many if the players. Some were sold permanently whereas some were sent on loan.
Chelsea to recall their young star back from loan?
One of the players who was sent on loan is Lesley Ugochukwu. He is 20 years old French player who plays as central midfielder and holding midfielder. He joined the Blues in summer 2023.
Lesley spent his full first year at England with Chelsea. He played 15 games for them out if which 12 were in Premier League. However, he was sent on loan to Southampton before the start of this season.
Lesley has so far played 13 games for Southampton. He has started in 7 of those and is doing very well. But, Matt Law thinks that the 20 year old has a good chance of being recalled by the Blues.
Chelsea can part ways with as much as 3 midfielders this month. This will open up huge space in the middle of the pitch. Lesley Ugochukwu is said to have a good potential and is rated highly by the club.

Matt Law further provided information about Andrey Santos who too is on loan away from Chelsea. He said that Santos will stay with Strasbourg until the end of the season. He has played 16 games this season and found the back of the net 7 times. Lastly, Law stated that the Blues are keeping close eye on Liam Delap who is regarded as one of the top targets.
