Chelsea star likely to miss out on important Premier League clash

Chelsea star attacker Cole Palmer has shared an update on his injury ahead of an important match. The attacking midfielder will be out of the squad due to a knee injury. Chelsea will face Arsenal on November 10th.

Palmer played an essential role in the team as he was part of the team when they travelled to Old Trafford. Cole suffered a knock to his knee in this game which has now set him out for upcoming matches. The result of this match was not very beneficial for either side which ended 1-1.

He was not a part of the Chelsea squad in the Conference League. One fact is that Palmer has not even registered in the Conference League. The Italian manager Enzo Maresca has decided to give reserve players more time in the Conference League.

Palmer took to social media to share an update on his injury. The youngster uploaded a story on his Instagram. He was getting cold compression therapy for his knee. This update has concerned both the fans and the team.

The youngster’s record has been very impressive for two seasons. Palmer is one of the most prolific players in Enzo Maresca’s squad. Cole is the top scorer for the London Giants this season with 7 goals in 12 matches.

Many English players skip out on the international break

The international break is here and many players have flown out to represent their countries. There is a case where several English players have decided to skip out on the break. They will focus on training or consider resting for a while.

A total of eight players out of 26 from the English team have decided not to play in the international break. Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill are two Chelsea players who will not be a part of Lee Carsley’s squad. Noni Madueke is the only English and Chelsea player post-Gareth Southgate era.

These players have considered avoiding the international break as several get injured during the international break. This injury problem often delays the footballer’s progress with their respective clubs. One example of a serious injury in the break is when Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard missed out on 12 important games for the club.

Chelsea are not very keen to part ways with their French ace

The Blues are making plans for their second-choice attacker Christopher Nkunku in the next transfer window. The French forward is linked with a move to Manchester United next summer. Chelsea however stays reluctant to let go of Nkunku.

The Italian manager Enzo Maresca has placed Nicolas Jackson as the first-choice striker for the team. Jackson has been in good form this season. One problem with Nkunku is his injuries. He has spent plenty of time off the squad which has put him well at the second choice for the team.

Christopher Nkunku has been in prolific form this campaign and his goals scoring form is evident in the Conference League. The French attacker is not happy with his situation with Chelsea with him being sidelined in some matches.

It has been heavily linked that Nkunku might make a move to Old Trafford in the next transfer window. The Red Devils might prepare an interesting offer and give the forward more playing time according to Football Insider. This deal will definitely attract the youngster but Chelsea has already made plans.

Nkunku has scored 10 goals for the London club across all competitions in the 2024-2025 campaign. One of these ten goals is from the Premier League. The French youngster is interested in leaving the club on loan next Summer but Chelsea has no plans of parting ways with him.
