Chelsea star pushing for exit after a very short stay

One Chelsea star is pushing hard for a move away from Stamford Bridge this month. He is keen to exit despite joining the Blues only in summer.

The star in question here is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The Blues paid Leicester City £30 million to reunite the 26 year old with Enzo Maresca. However, the deal has not worked out for both club and the player resulting in him linked with exit.

Dewsbury-Hall was unstoppable last season where he scored 12 goals and assisted 15 under Maresca. But, the Italian boss has not used the 26 year old in similar way since taking up new job. The former Leicester star has played just 6 league games and started in only 1 of those.

Dewsbury-Hall desperate to move away from Chelsea

The 26 year old midfielder is not happy with his current role at West London. According to Simon Phillips, he wants to move away after just half season in order to play regularly. Dewsbury-Hall is being looked upon by multiple clubs at the moment.

Aston Villa are amongst the interested clubs to sign Dewsbury-Hall. Unai Emery wants more quality in the middle of the pitch. He wants to compete for the top 4 spot as well as advance to further stages of UEFA Champions League.

Enzo Maresca recently said that he wants to keep Dewsbury-Hall until the end of the season. But, the Blues will feel powerless to keep hold on him if the player himself forces an exit. Chelsea will demand all £30 million they spent while signing the 26 year old.

On the other hand, there are rumours about Chelsea wanting to sign Villa star Jhon Duran. However, there are no clear reports as nothing is concrete yet. Villa are demanding £80 million for the Columbian striker which may prove hard for any of the interested clubs.
