Chelsea have signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town ahead of summer window. The Tractors Boys have now shown interest in signing one Blues star on loan. The West London club can agree the deal as they want the player to improve.
Chelsea wanted a new striker as Enzo Maresca felt need of one more. They were linked with many players across whole Europe. However, their top target was Liam Delap since a long time. They have finally found success in the pursuit of the 22 year old striker.
The Blues will also need to focus on selling some current stars. This will help them to open up space, raise funds and comply with PSR. Lastly, they will also need to send some players on loan. As of now, one player is already wanted by Ipswich Town.
Ipswich Town interested in Chelsea striker
The star in question here is Marc Guiu. He is 19 years old and joined the Blues last summer. He has played 14 games and scored 6 goals for the West London club. But, Guiu has not been able to play regularly due to injury and presence of other top players.
Fabrizio Romano has said on his youtube channel that Guiu is wanted by Ipswich Town. The Tractor Boys are relegated and will like to gain promotion back as soon as possible. They will need to replace Delap urgently and feel that Guiu can be a perfect fit to do so.
Romano said that Ipswich Town have asked on straight loan. They are unwilling to include an option or obligation to buy at the end of the season. Hence, Chelsea can agree the deal as they find sending Guiu on loan within England as a better option.
Guiu can play regularly for Ipswich Town. He can use this opportunity to improve himself and get back into Chelsea squad. His chances of playing regularly at Stamford Bridge will decrease even further after the arrival of Liam Delap.
