Chelsea still interested to sign striker with 25 G/A this season

Chelsea were heavily invested in landing one striker in particular last year. They still hold the interest as the player has been in superb form once again this season. He already has 25 goal involvements.

The Blues are keen to sign a new striker in summer. They are linked with various strikers across whole Europe. In England, they have Liam Delap on radar but he has interest from multiple other clubs. As of now, Man United are keen to land him.

Chelsea also have interest in Benjamin Sesko. But, the Slovenian striker is heavily linked with Arsenal who are believed to have upper hand in the race. Hence, the Blues can re-enter the race for thier former target.

The star in question here is Victor Osimhen of Napoli. The Blues tried really hard to sign him last year. They tried until last hour of deadline day but the deal still ended in failure. The transfer fee along with wages caused the deal to end in failure.

Osimhen then opted to join Galatasaray on loan. He has been superb for them and has scored 20 goals this season. In addition, he has picked 5 assists as well. There were reports that Chelsea have given up on Osimhen but the latest news state otherwise.

Chelsea still interested to sign Victor Osimhen

Rudy Galetti has reported that the Blues still hold interest in Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker can be available for around €75 million in summer. He also has interest from PSG and Juventus at the moment.

Osimhen can be great addition to Chelsea as he will have instant impact. He will directly replace Nicolas Jackson from the starting lineup. However, Chelsea will need to beat other clubs in the race.

PSG need to replace Kolo Muani who has joined Juventus on loan but is keen to move permanently in summer. On the other hand, Juventus are keen to replace Dusan Vlahovic who will enter the final year of his contract.
