Chelsea are still showing interest in one German winger in particular. They may make a move in the coming summer transfer window.
The Blues are keen to sign a new winger in the summer transfer window. They tried to sign one in January but failed to do so. As of now, Mudryk is suspended due to finding guilty in drug testing. Joao Felix is on loan and wants to leave permanently in summer.
Chelsea may also lose Nkunku in summer and hence they will be short on wings. They want a young winger who can play on both sides. In addition, they want him to play in middle when required. These requirements have taken them back to their old target.
Chelsea once again linked with German winger
According to Caught Offside, the Blues are still showing interest in Karim Adeyemi. The report adds that the German winger is currently valued at £37 million and hence Chelsea can sign him with ease in the summer window.
Borussia Dortmund will be forced to sell their important players in summer. This is due to not qualifying for Champions League. Along with Adeyemi, they may also lose Jamie Gittens which is another target of Chelsea football club.
As for Adeyemi, he just turned 23 and hence can be a long-term investement. He has a vast experience of playing football on the top level. He can play on both wings and can also play as striker of midfielder when required. This makes him key asset for any team he plays in.
Adeyemi has been very good this season especially considering poor form of Dortmund. He has scored 6 goals and picked 4 assists in 21 games. He will surely be a great addition to Chelsea but it will be key to see if Enzo Maresca approves the move or not.
