- Chelsea FC take a clear decision about the future of Mykhailo Mudryk
- Three top clubs who are keen to sign the 23 year old are now on high alert
Mykhailo Mudryk has been very heavily linked with an away move. He joined the Blues in January 2023 for £89 million. He came with very high expectations due to his top form with Shakhtar Donetsk.
However, Mudryk was not able to carry on his form from Ukraine with him. Eventually he fell down the pecking order and now is not the first choice player. Enzo Maresca is not shy to take bold decision and hence it seems like Mudryk is the next to leave Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea take important decision about Mudryk
As per CaughtOffside, the Blues are now prepared to send Mudryk on loan in January. This will be for the best interest of both club and the player. Mudryk will require regular football which is necessary for development.
As the winger is only 23 years old, the Blues will like to keep him at their squad. Hence, a loan move is suitable as they can call him back whenever they want. As of now, three clubs are keen to sign Mudryk.
Newcastle United are the first club and are also leading the race for Mudryk. They will like to make some key signings in winter as they had really quiet summer. Mudryk can add the attacking aspect which the Magpies are currently lacking in their squad.
Newcastle will face competition from Crystal Palace and Barcelona. Palace are currently in relegation zone and hence will like to improve their squad to keep themself in Premier League. Mudryk has the best chance to play regularly at Palace.
Barcelona already have a great squad but they have experienced dip in their form recently. Mudryk can add more quality due to his dynamism but the Spanish giants can’t guarantee him regular game time.
