The Blues recently parted ways with Chris Jurasek. Jurasek was chief executive at Chelsea from May 2023. He left the club in this September. Chelsea have now promoted Jason Gannon as president and chief operating officer.
Finance expert Stefan Borson spoke about the departure of Chris Jurasek. Borson told Football Insider that the Chelsea fans are happy about Jurasek leaving the club. He added that this is not a good sign. Later, this news was quickly followed by argument between Todd Boehly and Clearlake.

Todd Boehly stepped down as interim sporting director in January 2023. However, he is still the Chairman of Chelsea. As per the agreement, the chairman of Chelsea will be changed after every five years. This will keep Boehly in charge until 2027. However, Boehly and Clearlake are both unhappy with each other and want to find a permanent solution.
Firstly, Clearlake owns 61.5% stake and have no intention to sell. Instead, they want to buy the rest 38.5% stake. The rest 38.5% stake is owned by Todd Boehly and his partners. However, they also have no intention to sell their stake. Just like Clearlake, they also want full control over the club.
Ever since Todd Boehly arrived at Chelsea, the club has spent more than £1 billion. They had more than 42 players at one point in the summer. However, they were able to sell many of their stars reducing that number to 36. They were said to breach the PSR rules. However, Premier League approved the sale of their two hotels which eased their position. Everything was looking good but now the takeover news has once again made Chelsea fans uncomfortable.
