Chelsea target made available on discount this summer

Chelsea are set for a big summer window and are already linked with multiple stars. One of their targets has been made available on discount. He plays for their Premier League rivals who are desperate to sell him this summer.

The Blues are set for another big summer transfer window. They are set to make new signings in almost all parts of the pitch. Enzo Maresca needs more quality in final third and has requested the club to bring in new striker and a winger.

As for winger, they are keen to sign a left winger. But, they want him to play on right wing and in middle when needed. In addition, the club will focus on young stars as it is part of their hiring process. One of their targets plays for their rivals Man United who want to sell him.

Chelsea handed boost in pursuit of Man United star

The star in question here is Man United’s academy graduate Alejandro Garnacho. He is 20 years old and can play on both wings as well as an attacking midfielder. He has fallen out of favor at Old Trafford and hence is made available in market.

The Red Devils wanted to sell Garnacho in the January itself. But, they were unable to find a suitable offer. Chelsea were interested to sign the Argentine but were unwilling to pay the demanded transfer fee by Man United.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, United have now lowered their asking price for Garnacho. They are ready to part ways with him for less than £40 million. The Red Devils are in tough financial situation which they want to sort as soon as possible.

Besides Chelsea, Garnacho also has interest from Serie A where Napoli are keen to sign him as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. But, the Blues will have lead in the race as the Argentine may prefer to stay in England.
