One Chelsea target has now decided to leave his current club this week. Man United are also keeping tabs on the Blues target incase their current stars move away.
The star in question here is Mathys Tel of Bayern Munich. The 19 year old has been looked upon by the Blues since the start of the transfer window. The West London club want him as replacement for Christopher Nkunku.
Nkunku is linked with a move to Bayern Munich. There were reports that Chelsea and Bayern could be involved in direct swap del between Tel and Nkunku. But, Mathys Tel kep rejecting the offers from other club as he wanted to stay at Munich.
Chelsea are demanding €70 million for Nkunku which is proving very hard for Bayern. They are open to part ways with Tel despite him wanting to stay. As a result, the 19 year old was not given any minutes in their last 3 games.
Chelsea handed boost in the pursuit of Mathys Tel
Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Tel has now changed his decision. He is open to move away from Bayern. The German giants are now considering loan moves from multiple clubs. This news will come as a major boost for the Blues.
Later, Florian Plettenberg reported that the Blues will resume their talks to sign Tel. The player is open for only loan, with an option to buy, an obligation to buy or even with permanent transfer. Along with the Blues, several other clubs are showing interest.
Man United are also considering to enter the race for Tel. However, they will enter the race only after parting ways with either Marcus Rashford or Alejandro Garnacho. Chelsea are also showing interest in Garnacho at the moment. In contrast, Red Devils are showing interest in Christopher Nkunku.
