Chelsea target unwilling to move to West London

One Chelsea target is unwilling to move to West London this month. He is keen to stay at his current club despite the current conditions and this may result in failure of the deal.

The January transfer window has approached the final week. The rumours are spreading widely and clubs are stepping up their activities. However, Chelsea are yet to make any progress regarding any new signings.

The Blues are yet to register any new signing as of yet. In addition, they have not even registered sale of any current stars. This is very likely to change in the final week but the Blues have been handed with a major blow in the pursuit of one youngster.

19 year old unwilling to join Chelsea this month

The Chelsea target in question here is Mathys Tel of Bayern Munich. Bayern are keen to sign Christopher Nkunku from the Blues which resulted in the West London club asking for Tel in return.

Florian Plettenberg has reported that Tel has made it clear that he wants to stay at Bayern. The 19 year old has not played in any of the last 3 games despite being on the bench. However, that situation doesn’t seem to be affecting him.

Tel is finding it hard to fit in plans of Vincent Kompany. Bayern are not putting any pressure on him but at the same time are keen to sign Nkunku. There will be more talks between the 19 year old and the German giants soon.

Tel can force Bayern to miss out on Nkunku. Chelsea are demanding €70 million for the 27 year old. The Frenchman has already agreed personal terms with Bayern but the talks between the two clubs are not progressing very well.

Chelsea are not giving up on Tel just yet and are constantly trying. Along with the 19 year old, they are also trying to sign Alejandro Garnacho. The final few days of January window are going to be very interesting.
