Chelsea to fight against Liverpool for highly talented Karim Adeyemi

According to the reports of TeamTalk, the Blues have grown their interest on Borussia Dortmund‘s star winger Karim Adeyemi. Though at the moment Chelsea doesn’t need any more wingers to reinforce their attack. But if they decide to sell Mykhailo Mudryk next summer, then Maresca will like to bring in someone pacy and skillful like the German lad.

The 22-year-old winger was one of the main players behind Dortmund’s success at the European stages last season. As they reached the finals of the UCL but eventually lost to the Los Blancos. Though his scoring record wasn’t that good last season but on the pitch it is very hard to stop him. He likes to take on defenders, as he knows his speed and low gravity due to his height helps him a lot on 1v1 or 2v1 situations.

Karim Adeyemi will be a wonderful replacement of the Ukrainian winger, who failed to show case his potential. The German youngster is at the top of Maresca’s shortlist if they decides to bring in a winger.

Liverpool and PSG already monitoring Karim Adeyemi

However, it will not be a easy job for Chelsea. As top clubs like Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are already making moves for Karim Adeyemi. Due to his versatility on the flanks the Reds consider him as a concreate replacement of Mo Salah, who is expected to the leave the club next summer.

On the other hand the Catalan giants have also been linked with the 22-year-old recently. But their financial condition isn’t stable to bring in a player like Karim Adeyemi. As he is rated very highly by the club and currently valued at above £41 million by the club.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the upcoming transfer windows. As there is very slim chance of Adeyemi staying at the German side for the next season.
