Chelsea are set to part ways with Disasi, Veiga and Chalobah. In addition, they can also cash-in on Badiashile and Fofana for the right offer. As for new signings, they are keen to stick with their policy of signing young players.

On the other hand, Arsenal do have a very good defensive unit. But, they can need new additions in the summer window. Jakub Kiwior is keen to leave and the club is ready to allow him. They will also focus on young player as long-term investement.

Chelsea and Arsenal both have a common player as target. The star in question here is Cristhian Mosquera of Valencia. He is 20 years old and mainly plays as centre-back. But, he can also play as right-back when needed which makes him key asset.

Chelsea to hold talks for Mosquera

According to Caught Offside, the Blues are set to initiate contact for Mosquera. The player will enter the final year of his contract this summer. Hence, Valencia are ready to let him leave for just €25 million to avoid losing him for free.

Mosquera will have a big say in deciding his future. Along with the london clubs, plenty other top teams across whole Europe are showing interest in him. The 20 year old has played 40 games this season and has left everyone amazed with his steller performances.

Mosquera can be tempted to join any of Chelsea or Arsenal. But, as of now the Blues may hold slight advantage. Gunners have a solid defence due to which Mosquera can’t play regularly. In contrast, the Blues are still trying to figure out their main defenders and hence the 20 year old can play more regularly.
