Chelsea are showing interest to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer. They earlier were not interested in Sweden international but it has all changed now.
The Blues are set to be in the summer market to sign a striker. They want a clinical striker who can score regularly and guide them to major titles. Last summer they wanted Osimhen but he his name has now been scrapped out from their wishlist.
Chelsea are keeping tabs on both Benjamin Sesko and Liam Delap. Both of these stars fit in their hiring policy of signing young players. But, they have now also being linked with Gyokeres who has plenty other clubs interested in him.

GiveMeSport have reported that the Blues are showing interest in Gyokeres. Earlier in January window, the West London club rejected to join the race for Sweden international. But, it has all changed right now with Blues now wanting to sign him.
Chelsea may be interested to sign Gyokeres due to him being available on lower transfer fee. It is reported that he could be signed for €70 million this summer. He has €100 million release clause which makes €70 million a bargain in the potential pursuit.
Gyokeres can be a great addition to the Chelsea squad. He will replace Nicolas Jackson directly from the starting position. In addition, he has already played on English soil and hence the change in environment won’t affect him that much.
As far as form is considered, Gyokeres has been the best striker in the world. He has scored 77 goals in 86 games for Sporting. In addition, he has also picked 21 assists in the process. Gyokeres is also a regular starter for Sweden national team. He has scored 15 goals for his country so far along with 6 assists in 26 games.
