Journalist Nicolo Schira has recently tweeted that Carney Chukwuemeka and Axel Disasi are not in the plans of Maresca. He added that the both players are open to leaving in the January transfer window.
Firstly about Chukwuemeka, the player has not been able to impress the club since joining from Aston Villa. He has played only 5 games this season. In addition, he has started only 1 of those 5 and has so far player only 131 minutes. Lastly, he is yet to play in any Premier League game this season.
The story has been same for Axel Disasi but has relatively played more than Chukwuemeka. Despite playing 12 games so far this season, the 26 year old has played only 3 Premier League matches. He is way behind in pecking order and hence finds himself on chopping list.
