Journalist Matt Law has shed lights on some of Chelsea’s targets. Firstly, he said that the Blues like Bournemouth defender Ilia Zabarnyi. However, he added that a move this month is very unlikely at the moment.
Zabarnyi is regulat starter for the Cherries. He has started in all 20 of the Premier League matches this season. The Cherries will not want to lose him in the middle of the season. They will demand hefty fee in summer as they have him on long term contract.
Later, Law stated that Chelsea also have interest in Ronald Araujo of Barcelona. However, the Barca defender is now very close to joining Juventus on loan. Their are reports that deal is agreed and the player can travel to Italy next week.
Lastly, Law spoke about the most discussed option Marc Guehi. He said that the Blues are keen to sign him but it can be very hard for them without parting ways with some of their exisiting players first. The Blues are said to be ready to part ways with Axel Disasi and they could even cash-in on Benoit Badiashile if required.
