Chelsea transfer news: Updates about Garnacho and Casadei

Chelsea are very close to part ways with Cesare Casadei this month. On the other hand, they are monitoring Man United star Alejandro Garnacho. Here are latest updates about both deals.

Chelsea receive official bid for Casadei

The Blues have received an official bid from Lazio for Casadei. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A side are offering €13 million. In addition, there will be a sell-on clause inserted in the deal.

Earlier, it was reported that Torino had beaten the competition from Lazio for Casadei. But, this report from Romano suggests that Lazio are still in the race and are trying hard to land 21 year old.

Chelsea want a heavy sell-on clause in the contract. They are expected to make final decision about the Italian this week. As of now, the former Inter star is on the verge of moving away from Stamford Bridge.

Updates about Alejandro Garnacho pursuit

Alejandro Garnacho has came through United academy and was rated very highly. But, he has now fallen out-of-favour and is linked with exit. He is being looked upon by Chelsea who are keen to add a winger to their squad this week.

As per The Telegraph, the Blues are set to hold more talks with United for Garnacho. The Red Devils want around £50 million for the Argentine winger. The West London club wants a winger who can play on both wings as well as in middle. Garnacho is perfect fit for their current demands.

In addition, the Argentine is still only 20 years old. This makes him perfect fit in Chelsea’s hiring strategy too. He will be a long-term investment for the club. But, the Blues have heavy competition from Serie A giants Napoli.

Napoli are keen to sign Garnacho as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. They can also offer United their loaned striker Victor Osimhen in return. The Italian giants can be in pole position to land the Argentine winger.
