Chelsea unwilling to keep 25 year old winger beyond this season

Blues Eyeing Serie A’s Top Scorer to Improve Their Attack

Chelsea are unwilling to keep their 25 year old winger beyond this season. He is looked upon by Turkish giants. In addition, there is interest from Premier League too.

The star in question here is Joao Felix who joined the Blues last summer. The West London club opted to spend £42 million for his signing but the deal has not worked out for them. The Portugese is already away on loan after half season.

Felix scored 7 goals and picked 2 assists in 20 games for Chelsea this season. He was unable to establish himself as a regular starter. Later, he demanded more game-time which resulted in the Blues opting to send him on loan.

Felix joined AC Milan on loan and had an amazing start to his career in Italy. But, he later experienced a dip in the form. Milan have the option to buy him at the end of the season but are not planning to do so. They are ready to send the player back to West London.

Chelsea to part ways with Joao Felix

According to Sabah via TEAMtalk, the Blues have no intention to keep Felix beyond this season. They will make the Portugese available in the market and as of now he is looked upon by Galatasary. In addition, he also has interest from Aston Villa.

Galatasary may find it hard to sign Felix due to his wage demands. The player currently earns £70,000 per week which the Turkish giants may find hard to offer. This can be the only turn off point in the potential summer deal.

Aston Villa can be seen adding more firepower to their squad this summer. But, it will depend on various conditions like current loan players. If they are able to sign Rashford and Asensio on permanent basis, they might not go for Felix.
