Chelsea vs Leeds United: Preview, Team News and Predicted Line-ups

High Flyers Chelsea host inconsistent Leeds United at Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 11 of English Premier League. This fixture will see the return of 2000 fans to the Bridge.

Chelsea faced league leaders Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 10 of the Premier League. The game ended in a draw with both Edouard Mendy and Hugo Lloris keeping a clean sheet.

Chelsea also faced Sevilla in their penultimate fixture of the Champions League group stages. Olivier Giroud scored 4 goals becoming the oldest footballer to score a hattrick in the Champions League.

Leeds United faced Everton away from home and got all 3 points from their fixture. The 23-year-old Brazilian Raphinha scored the only goal of the match in the 79th minute.

Lampard and Marcelo Bielsa’s rivalry goes back to the time when Lampard managed Derby County. Bielsa was accused of spying on Derby County’s training sessions to which Bielsa came out and arranged a press conference where he revealed it all.

CHELSEA VS LEEDS UNITED TEAM NEWS:

Frank Lampard has a fully fit squad at his disposal with the only doubt being Ben Chilwell who was an unused sub in their last match.

However, Lampard’s headache arises from that fact itself. Chelsea has a very talented squad and with the return of Christian Pulisic and the current form of Olivier Giroud, it is very hard to predict who will be dropped.

Marcelo Bielsa is not as lucky as Lampard. Spanish International Diego Llorente is back from a groin injury but Bielsa has confirmed he will first play for the U-23s side. The same is said for Pablo Hernandez and Jamie Shackleton.

Midfielder Jack Harrison is expected to return ahead of the fixture.
